the Instructors
Voice and Data
Training
Roy Pepper has Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Telecommunication’s and
a PhD in Engineering and has been involved with telecommunications for
over forty years. During his career he has held senior positions with
some very high profile companies in both Canada and the United States.
Companies such as BC Telephone or as it is known today Telus,
Ungermann Bass who were a large manufacturer of LAN equipment, RCK
Telecom an International Telecommunications consulting firm based in
Canada, CTC Communications a CLEC in the US Northeast and now as an
advisor and Senior Consultant with The Kenton Group a US based Telecom
Consulting firm with headquarters in Florida. He has also sat on the
Board of Directors for a number of start-up companies throughout his
career.
Due to his expertise in telecom consulting and training Roy
is often asked to provide specialized training and industry updates, on
an International level, to the Telecom Industry. In addition to training
he has been very involved in helping a number of companies to develop
their Internet and Network strategies.
Fiber Optics Training
Tommy
Bonner holds a Doctorate degree from
Mississippi State University in education. He has over 14 years
experience in teaching fiber optic courses for AT&T, 3M, OFS, Lucent
Technologies and FNT. His certifications include 3M Fiber Products and
Systems, Sorrento DWDM Metro Fiber, OFS connectors, QA/QC inspection,
and Gigabit Ethernet. He also has assisted in the development of
certification programs for Lucent Technologies ranging from fiber
certification to smart LGX’s.
Tommy has been Certified to teach
fiber classes since 1993 and is certified to teach numerous classes in
fiber optics including 3M Fiber Products and Systems, Sorrento DWDM
Metro Fiber, OFS connector styles, QA/QC inspection, and Gigabit
Ethernet. He also has developed
training programs for Lucent Technologies ranging from fiber
certification to soft training used with smart LGX’s.
Kenton Group's Focus on
Training
The training method used by Kenton Group is to focus on our course
training manuals. Comprehensive development efforts have been engaged to
create each course manual and they are of the highest quality in the
industry. Each seminar participant receives a personal copy of our
graphically illustrated course manual. Given the nature of this industry
