Selection & Buildout Kenton Group provides the assistance, guidance, recommendations and inspections required, beginning with the initial site selection process through project build-out and completion. It has become very apparent that our experience working with telecom companies has proven that a "telecom smart" consultant is a beneficial asset. Our knowledge and experience has proven time and time again, that initial design meetings with brokerage firms, architectural/engineering firms and the end user reveals a lack of telecommunication knowledge as it relates to architectural, mechanical and electrical design. Up front knowledge of unique telecom space characteristics prevents surprise and costly add-ons after contract approval and limits the need for change orders up front and during the construction phase. Kenton Group will assure that the construction conforms to building industry standards and architectural/engineering requirements. Our specialists will coordinate and assist the end-users’ telecom engineering department with equipment layout, bonding and grounding design and battery locations as it pertains to floor loading. We will also document change requirements, assure quality, coordinate inspections, conduct pre-construction meetings, administer authorization for payments, develop punch-list, conduct final inspection with all parties, and secure accurate as built documents.
